So we do our launch, people sign up and there's no features inside of it.
And we're like, no, it's gonna be cool.
Every couple of days we'll launch a new feature.
And so we do this reverse launch.

And because the launch was so backwards and it wasn't quite ready, it didn't take off.
As soon as it didn't take off, people didn't stop promoting and the whole thing's kind of like screeched to a halt and was just like, oh crap.
Two years of our life, all of our savings gone and nobody's promoting this thing, it's not working.
And that's kind of the first crown of crossroads.
um uh and so after that that's where we started trying the different versions we tried uh you know the product launch didn't work then we tried just a regular sas version tried another one we tried four or five times and after the fifth time that's mike phil slim invited me to come speak his event he's like hey you should come sell click funnels the event i'm like we've been trying nobody's buying the free trial this is not going to work and you guys have heard this story i went out there at the event created a thousand dollar offer we pitched on the webinar or pitched on the live event it crushed
came back home we started doing live webinars in fact i found the date this morning the very first actual live webinar i did after mike's event first webinar was november 7th i did two webinars that day and uh that month i kept doing them and doing them doing them and that was kind of the launch of click funnels uh now i moved to 2015.
2015 tnc is the very beginning of the year again so we go back to traffic conversion and this time click funnels is done we show up everybody's talking about funnels we're talking about click funnels it's the greatest thing in the world um and then anyways i probably should say this on camera but
Here we are.
I remember Ryan Dice, I love Ryan.
He's on stage at this event and Todd and I are sitting in the audience where it's like listening to everything.
And then Ryan's like, yeah, TNC is like the greatest thing.
Because of us, companies like ClickFunnels were built.
And we're like, did you just take credit for ClickFunnels?
Like we've been killing ourselves.
It was like so frustrating.
