And one of our favourite things to do during elections, more or less, is to fact-check campaign leaflets.
And an interesting one dropped through the door of More or Less Towers just the other day.
In it, the Labour candidate for Ealing Central and Acton, Rupert Hook, sister of Connie, if you like a celeb spot, Eddie, she's claiming that under David Cameron, we're all £1,600 a year worse off.
But we checked with the Labour Party HQ and they said that's a mistake actually.
We're not all worse off.
They're saying it's just working people.
And that's because their figure is based on comparing the wages reported in the annual survey of hours and earnings with the consumer price index, the measure of inflation.
There are problems with using that as a measure because it doesn't include pensions or take account of tax or benefits.
And this number also relies on earnings data from a year ago.
And we know that things have been getting better since then.
But really, Eddie, one number is never going to be that helpful anyway, whether you choose Labour's preferred number or the one the Conservatives prefer.
The Institute for Fiscal Studies has pointed out that different groups are faring differently.
Older people have been doing better than the under 30s.
People on higher incomes worse than those on lower incomes.
And those with children better than those without.
Funny that, isn't it?
So that's the past five years scrutinised.
But what about the future?
You know, the TV debate, the seven-party leader debate on ITV.
When we were watching that, Nigel Farage came up with a statistic that I think caught the attention of a lot of people.
