Good morning.

I am Councilman Ryan Alter and I am here today to recognize the incredible service of a true community champion, Julia Spann.

For 30 years she has dedicated herself

Probably more than 30 years, I have to imagine.

To really helping those who need it the most.

At the Safe Alliance, most recently as CEO, she was able to help countless families who are in situations that nobody wants to find themselves in, but through

dedication and hard work and really just honoring the individuals who are there, able to help them through that difficult situation and into what is a more stable, successful place in our community.

So it's hard work.

It often goes unnoticed and with not near enough thank yous.

So today we get to say thank you.

And so I want to

I present this distinguished service award for her steadfast commitment, outstanding leadership, and tireless service to the organization and community throughout her nearly 30 years at the Safe Alliance and its predecessor agencies.

Julia Spann is deserving of public acclaim and recognition.
