You know, I always said I knew I'd be done playing whenever I got tired of like the preparation piece and 24, I was done and I love it.
I love showing up.
I love helping these guys.
We have a great group of players, fun group.

As I got older, yes.
I would say, obviously, when you're young and in the grind, you're just focused on getting to the big leagues and not getting released.
As I became an older player in AAA, I was being groomed to coach.
I spent a lot of time my last couple of years either coaching
injured or in the bullpen with pitchers so that's kind of when I discovered like hey I really want to do this like I love the game it's all I've known since I was 18 years old professionally and I want to help players so it just slowly became like kind of what I knew I was going to do post play
Right.
Well, I can tell you, sports media is not the path for me.
So I think, you know, definitely managing.
We have a it's a cheat code.
We know the pitching staff.
We know, you know, hitting.
We kind of can do a little bit of everything and we see the game differently.
So, you know, all those years catching has definitely helped transition into this role.
Obviously, still learning new stuff every day, like the game.
