Before we get into that, all I'm going to say is this.
Jim Edmonds was a fantastic center fielder in his prime because when you look at that era of center fielder, you had, of course, Griffey.
You had Andrew Jones when he was patrolling center field for the Braves.
Think about Kenny Lofton.
And then there was Jim Edmonds who not only could he field, but like you guys said, he had a .284 average, 393 home runs, nearly 1,200 RBI.
When you're 12, 13, 14, you're watching this guy going, I don't know if he'll make the Hall of Fame.
But he's definitely in the Hall of really good.
And if you talk about Sean Green, it's the same thing.

right i agree but then it but then it goes back to that ever longing conversation of well what are the metrics people use to evaluate the hall of fame like is it your traditional statistics is it war is it something else because like it's the joey vato discussion where right there's some people who felt well is he really a hall of famer and there's a lot of people who go whether you look at the underlying numbers and numbers you see in front of you or the eye test like
That guy was a Hall of Famer because if you put him in another lineup where he wasn't the only consistent player, absolutely.
