And with that in mind, let's dive in.
And as a disclaimer, I'm recording this Saturday afternoon, March twenty eighth.
The Anaheim game has just started.
Uh I'm gonna be missing some of the action tonight from the Colorado game and from some other teams we're gonna talk about today.
uh from my analysis, but we're gonna mainly focus on some of these teams that are gonna have off days and Anaheim is certainly one of the headliners this week.
Uh and just for reference, we'll be talking about week twenty three, March thirtieth to April fifth, which as I mentioned earlier is probably your playoff finals matchup.
So just like any week, we're gonna be looking for opportunities to add games played from productive players while removing players from our lineup whose schedules are less efficient.
This concept takes on a whole new meaning in the playoff finals because there is no next week.
There are several teams with bad schedules this week, particularly in the early part of the week from Monday to Wednesday, that you'll want to consider whether the juice is worth the squeeze to hold them when they aren't playing Monday to Wednesday.
But before we get into that, make sure you set your lineups and find out what you might have available.
It's another week full of busy days, to nobody's surprise, since we've had a season full of them with the compressed Olympic schedule.
It'll probably be hard for you to get in play.
Players on Tuesday with twenty teams playing and ten games on the go, and it'll be darn near impossible to get them in on Thursday and Saturday.
You probably have a lot of guys on your bench, fourteen and fifteen games on the schedule, respectively.
If you are finding it hard to make a decision on who to drop to make room for some of the players we'll talk about today, consider first dropping any peripheral players on the Utah Mammoth, Nashville Predators, and Minnesota Wild, who each are off from Monday to Wednesday.
And with the exception of Minnesota who get the Sunday Savior game, they only play on the busy days.
And in this kind of situation, I tend to be pretty aggressive, and so for me
If you play for the Nashville Predators and your name isn't Philip Forsberg, Steven Stamkos, or Roman Yossi, you won't be playing for my team.
It's not personal, but it's just not worth holding Ryan O'Reilly or Jonathan Marchisau or even Luke Evangelista, who's had a great season, if you're losing the opportunity to use that roster spot for points for just about half of your matchup.
Similarly in Utah, you might keep Nick Schmaltz, Clayton Keller, Dylan Gunther, and Mikhail Sergachev, but everybody else can go.
