I built this brand by jumping on every publicity opportunity by doing every project and then go, I don't like that pitch.
I'm going to let that pitch go by and I'm going to wait until there's one I can really get behind.
And that requires restraint.
It's this two sides of like drive and ambition, but then also restraint and a sense of what your limits are.
That's what you would tell a New York Times reporter because you want them to write a story about you.
One, the discipline to bring people on is like, so sharing.
And like, if you're like, no, this is all for me.
It's all about me.
It's like the discipline even to like let go of some of the control.
These are all, we tend to think of discipline as just working harder and doing more.
And it's much more subtle than that.
