We'll have more meetings with our amateur staff.

That's done an outstanding job getting to know these players.

And we'll make our decisions based off of who the best player available is when we pick, and there's not going to be an outside influence changing who that might be.

Man, he's a very thoughtful person in the sense of –

there's a lot to consider just to, Hey, this job and wanting it.

Um, obviously his family is always first and foremost, like all of us are.

So some of those initial discussions were the path, the vision, uh, we've preached to you guys about the importance of alignment, um,

from ownership straight down through Daniel Henrich, myself.

And those are some of the initial discussions that I did want to have with Manny, just to be clear on that.

So I know perception was maybe this was a long drawn out process, but from our standpoint, it really wasn't.

And obviously at the same time, I'm navigating draft and free agency and

The in-house decisions and finding support staff for myself, the impact of coaches, how that may impact the Abbotsford staff, you know, just a lot to consider.

So I don't want to do anything with a knee-jerk reaction.

I wanted to go through this process, make sure it was very clear with Manny.

And Manny, when he jumped into it, he jumped with both feet.

And that's how we got to this point here.

Obviously, we're both extremely excited to get moving forward.

I really enjoyed being able to just talk to very openly and honestly speak to him about my feelings about his process and some of the adversity and some of the challenges.

And there's a lot of them based on the time he's been here, but just wanted to share

I wanted to hear him speak.
