And so when I asked that question, it was like, well, hey, I'd be in the NBA.

So I meet Kobe and I say, hey, I'm doing a documentary called Chasing Failure.

I'm actually going to ask a lot of people, what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

And I'm going to go for something that I think I'll probably fail, but there's only one way to find out.

And that's for me to try.

So I say, I'm going to be in the NBA.

And he's like, yeah, do it.

And I was just like, nah, dude, that's the wrong answer.

You were supposed to tell me how hard it is.

You were supposed to tell me about 4 a.m.

workouts.

You were supposed to tell me about the nutritionist.

You were supposed to tell me about the politics of it.

But no, he just stuck with the Nike slogan, just do it.

And so...

I did not know how to get into the NBA for people that don't understand how the NBA works.

It's the National Basketball Association.

It's not a church league.

There's a protocol.

You need to go to Duke, North Carolina, play overseas.
