So I'm going to go up there and find a ball that I can crush, and if I strike out, so be it.
Okay, that doesn't work up here.
I mean, you have to figure out when you're facing really good pitching every day.
You've got to figure out, look, I'm probably not going to get a fastball at 92 right down the middle three times, and I got three shots to hit it out of the ballpark.
You might get 95 up and away, but you've got to get that guy in from third base.
Are you going to get that guy in?
You might make an out, but you've got to get that guy in.
And so that's the kind of thing I'm talking about where, like, an identity of a team, our job is to figure out how do we get the job done.
You graduate from, well, this is the type of hitter I am, to what do I need to do to get the job done?
So, yeah, lack of production in the middle right now, but I just think an identity one through nine is getting closer, but it's not quite there yet.
I mean, I just think there's just enough guys in there that can make that happen.
And when your big guys aren't, when your big guys are struggling, there's a tendency for other people to say, I'm going to pick up the slack.

There are people in the lineup that are just not going to be Vinny Pasquantino in a 100 RBI season.
