That's not who they're made to do.
Walks is a very interesting topic that comes up.
And I think I've, I think, and again, this is just my opinion, but we get caught up sometimes in like, you know, guys just don't, you know, they don't walk a lot or they do walk.
Why is he a good hitter, but he's not walking?
I don't think any good hitters go to the plate looking for a walk.
I think good hitters accept a walk, but their first priority is to hit the ball hard.
They're ready for their pitch.
When they get it, they're going to hit it hard.
If they get to two strikes, now it's the team thing, or they might even do the team thing before they get it.
And I probably said this on your show and I'll throw a question back out at you.
You know, the guys that just, I will always remember and their hall of fame hitters, Albert Pujols, when he was with the Cardinals, Miguel Cabrera and Edgar Martinez were three guys that always seemed to get the job done.
And they seem to beat us with broken bats and bloops to right field.
They hit their three run home runs.
They got their three run doubles.
