But then there was hundreds in the getting started mode, but I wasn't choosy or selective.
If someone wanted to have me on their show,
I was there.
Well, what's interesting about it, so the reality now is different than a year and a half ago or two years ago when I set out to write the book.
Two years ago when I set out to write the book, we had intended on driving traffic to basically execute what's come to be known as the ask method for clients.
The ask method is using surveys and quizzes online to build a quote-unquote marketing funnel.
And a marketing funnel is nothing more than a way to get leads and customers into your business and do it through paid advertising on a consistent, predictable, recurring business.
And I've done that successfully in the 23 markets that we talked about.
And my most successful market to date, we do upwards of between 95 and 100,000 email opt-ins, so leads,
per day, that's daily.
These are huge numbers and I've had other markets where we do 200 leads or opt-ins per day and then everything in between.
So I've had a ton of experience and so at the time that was the goal.
And our business model evolved in the last two years to the point that we are now exclusively an education company.
Why?
Because there's only one of me and there's only my team is small.
We have about 25 people on my team.
And we realized that we could impact more businesses by teaching how to execute the ask method and coaching people through that process rather than doing it for a small select number of businesses who have hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest.
Because that's what it costs to work with or what it did cost to work with businesses.
The evolution works like this.
So I executed the ask method in three markets, scrabble, tile, jewelry, orchid care, and memory improvement.
