CNN has confirmed that a House panel took a secret vote to release the ethics report on former Congressman Matt Gaetz.
You'll remember that investigation looked into allegations of sexual misconduct, drug use and possible bribes.

So, Ana, we can confirm this report that the House Ethics Committee did meet and had a secret vote to reverse course and decide to release the ethics report on Matt Gaetz.
And we are expecting that the report could be released as soon as the end of this week, right before the House gavels out for the holiday break.
This comes after a pretty lengthy back and forth between Republicans and Democrats on this panel that really came to a flashpoint around the time that Matt Gaetz was picked as Donald Trump's nominee to become the next Attorney General.
It was then where the news was leaked that the ethics report had been close to being finished and that the ethics committee was getting set to release that report.
But then you remember that Gaetz surprised everyone by stepping down from Congress in anticipation
