If they do eventually grant permission and the owners are allowed to talk to them, I'll almost respect them less.

Honestly, if they all of a sudden pull an about-face and are like, okay, yeah, now you can, like, what are you doing?

I would just, that to me would border on pathetic.

Like, what was all this for to them?

This is not a distraction, Bob.

There is zero chances of a distraction, and it's kind of insulting to everybody to throw that out there and be like, we're not taking questions.

Let me ask you this about his power.

Do you think Kelly McCrimmon has the green light from his owner to leave Cassidy on the shelf for the entire year and to spend $4.5 million of that owner's money?

Do you think he's got that green light or do you think he's playing fast and loose with this?

And like at a certain point, I wonder if Cassidy, who, by the way, last time he got fired, had a job like before he hung the phone up, had another job and was coaching again.

So I don't know.

I mean, there's part of me that thinks, wouldn't it be rich if Bruce Cassidy was like, yeah, you know what?
