I mean, my career has been a little crazy, whether it's up and down or grinding throughout the A to begin my career, but

My best hockey is being played, so looking forward to bringing that to Edmonton.

Yeah, I mean, as you said, they're more focused on the Texas Longhorns, the college down there, but

Uh, they always showed up and we're great fans down there, but, um, yeah, I mean, I just, I didn't rush myself, uh, in college.

I had a good college career and I just stayed patient.

I never thought, I guess the dream of getting to the NHL, uh, kind of left throughout the HL.

I thought, uh,

I say to everyone now is that's probably the best three years for me that I could have had just because it taught me how to play the pro game, taught me to put on strength and weight during the offseason.

And from there, it's just I credit all those guys for developing me or whether it's guys like Thomas Harley and those type of players down there.

And yeah, I'm happy it worked out that way because I'm very, very grateful for

my time there and grateful that this is the way my career went.

Yeah, I think we've been talking to Edmonton for a while now.

Obviously, they had bigger guys and bigger business to take care of, but there was a couple teams showing a good amount of interest, and obviously once the day starts at noon, everyone expects...

I guess all 50 free agents to come off the board by 1207.

But we were, we were just being patient with it and kind of, kind of waiting for the right opportunity.

And I told them, I told my agent the whole time, I just, I want to go to a place that can help me.

I got my first taste of playoff hockey in Pittsburgh and it was awesome, especially with those fans at city.

And I can't imagine what it's like in Edmonton.
