She's been very outspoken in her criticism of President Trump and also of
regulators that Mr. Trump has appointed.
And we expect it to be, you know, a fairly aggressive posture that she takes when it comes to overseeing Wall Street and when it comes to calling officials up to her committee and using the subpoena power that comes with the chairman's gavel.
Yeah, so it actually wasn't the head of the bureau.
It was one of the enforcement officials there who made some racially charged remarks years ago that have gotten a lot of attention.
That's the type of thing you could expect Ms.
Waters to call a hearing on, potentially to try to put pressure on them.
We also might see her go after companies like Wells Fargo, which has had a lot of negative headlines and, of course, is based in California, where she's from, and Deutsche Bank, which had some business history with President Trump and
And as the ranking Democrat, the top minority lawmaker on the committee in the last year or two, she's asked for records from Deutsche Bank.
Deutsche Bank has refused on the basis that she wasn't the committee chairman and so this wasn't an official investigation.
Well, come January, she'll be the chairman.
So that's the type of thing where we could see her try to make waves, try to make headlines, try to get attention to put pressure on the administration.

Yeah, that's a great point.
There are issues where we're going to have to see some bipartisanship because Congress really needs to act on them.
Otherwise, the business community and others are going to be very concerned.
And flood insurance is a great example of that.

backstops a lot of flood insurance for homeowners who live near flood-prone areas, who live in flood-prone areas.
And so the Financial Services Committee is going to have to likely deal with that next year.
