Ryan Wesley Ruth will spend the rest of his life in federal prison for his attempted killing of President Trump in September of 2024 at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

Ruth defended himself at trial, but Martin Roth was his standby lawyer.

The judge called Ruth evil.

President Trump was campaigning for office and had just survived being shot months earlier when Secret Service agents discovered Ruth hiding in the shrubs with a gun just off the green as the then candidate was playing.
