I like Gerrard.

I thought he was great in that run they had when they won the Cup.

I know he went down with that sternum injury when it was at Barbashev who put him through the end wall.

Just got freight trained through the end wall and he was out of playoffs.

He broke his sternum.

But it almost like, does it make a guy like that a little bit more exposable?

Do you think they change anything about that decor to strengthen what they got up front?

I like Gerrard.

I think that sometimes, just given his size, he does have a hard time closing guys off in the D zone and just, like, pitting guys and killing plays.

That would be my only criticism.

But we had him on the broadcast a few weeks ago and neutral zone.

Like, he's got a guy chasing him, fakes left with a head twitch, and then boom, he's up the other way.

Easy outlet pass, creating his own lane.

So...

That's where he can really impact the game.

It's just, do they need that from a guy who's a little bit, probably on the bottom pair, right?

In a playoff series?

Or if you're going to really tinfoil hat like Jans wants to over here, what if you sign him for that low money and now you can trade him to a team?

So you guys would say they're not changing anything about their decor before they had a deadline?
