He is overall, if you're picking the number one defenseman, you're picking him.

But I think if you're looking at this season and what Wierenski's doing through the struggles that they've had, a coaching change, nowhere near the cast of players that Makar has to play with, yeah, it might not look as shiny and as appealing to you, but the numbers speak for themselves and you have to, in my opinion, at least say they're neck and neck right now until the end of the season.
