Possibly the furniture under the house belonged to the previous owner.
The buyer may not have taken possession at that time.
If I'm understanding what Frank's saying correctly, after the sale of the house, the owner had seemingly allowed this man to live in the house with his son until the new owners took over.
And then, when the new owners took over, him and his son would have to move on.
And that could make absolutely perfect sense.
nearly a year and a half before Jessica would disappear in late August of 1999.
Perhaps the new purchases had allowed existing tenants to stay on and continue to rent for an extended period.
I've done this exact thing myself, although not for that long.
Or, the other alternative, is that somehow there has been confusion on the actual date over the years.
Is it possible that this whole conversation and story actually took place in 1998, as Frank had stated in the first words of his self-written statement?
This would fit logically with the sale of the property.
Could this man have simply been describing exactly what he did see,
A young girl screaming in a car, being attacked, in a Zephyr, in that exact spot as described.
But simply over the passage of time, 1998 became 1999.
I really don't want to discredit Frank's story.
He's an incredibly genuine guy, and I believe the story.
But I'm just trying to look for logical ways this can make sense at this point.
