I think we've got a couple questions here as well to go through.
What have we got here?
This one's probably, this is jumping back just a couple episodes.
Someone had messaged through and said, I've just listened to season six, episode 38.
We discussed with the journalist and Louise, why Derek or anyone who was innocent would say, wait until the body was found.
You both state that you could not think of why someone innocent would say that.
However, I believe the exact opposite is true.
I can't think why someone guilty would say that.
I'm not saying he's innocent.
But think of it this way.
If on the off chance he was innocent and therefore could reasonably presume the body would be found, as an innocent person, he could also assume that evidence found with the body would also exonerate him.
Additionally, while part of me agrees with Australia's no body, no parole rule, if someone is actually innocent and is wrongfully imprisoned, how can they ever possibly get out?
They've said here it's inhumane.
Maybe I'm relating to the US more as we, I must be from the US, we have so many wrongfully convicted inmates.
Furthermore, the fact he has not taken part in those prison programs again suggests innocence to me.
I don't know the answer, but these three items to me are the behavior of an innocent person, not a guilty one.
