Was that fun?
I mean, we're talking flip up phones.
We're talking, you know, various bits of music.
Very low cut jeans.
Remind us of what that would have been then.
I'm very impressed.
And I think what people are going to love about the book as well is your trademark ability to look at Ireland and take the piss out of Ireland in such a loving way.
I mean, there's a mention of RIP.ie in there about Ireland's favourite topic, who's dead.
Actually, we own RIP.ie now, the Irish Times.
Yeah, exactly.
And there's also a very, I know it's not Irish, but there's a part of the book of one of the characters is going around to M&S and remarking on how amazing M&S is.
Oh yeah, that's me.
And marvelling at people who do their big shop in M&S, like how do they afford it?
But we still love M&S, don't we?
I mean, I got some sausage rolls in there the other day for myself.
yeah that's a great development we stopped off specially recently there's a little mini M&S in the Belfast train station if you're going up there to do any publicity it used to be one in Houston and it's gone it's gone I know it's very annoying that it's gone in Houston anyway we could have a podcast just about M&S I hope they're listening and send us some free stuff that is a great idea I would listen to that bit of sponsorship
Exactly.
The other thing about Laura and Dee in this book is that they're kind of from very different backgrounds.
You know, Dee is from a sort of more ordinary background and Laura's father is the petrol pump king of Ireland.
He's a petrol mogul.
