I think there's a real danger for Crowley that he's not going to be in the 23 for Paris, which would be a massive kick in the teeth for him.
But that image I have of him on Saturday, not to mind the kicking issues, the amount of times he found himself scrambling like a quarterback whose offensive line have been beaten and he's just trying to find a way, he's trying to find a run and he has no options.
And often he did find a way, but Ireland don't want...
But Ireland don't want them scrambling.
Ireland want them in full control of what he's doing.
You rarely see Prendergast in a similar situation, partly because he's behind a better pack.
That's not, you know, Crowley's, you know, he's behind the eight ball on that and that's no fault of his.
He's a Munster player and he's proud of it.
But I think he hasn't played well since November.
He didn't play particularly well in November and I think he's losing ground
and that goal kicking is just going to be another thing that's held up against him and I think he's possibly judged by a higher standard which is really unfair on him and Burnham wasn't exceptional by any means I thought some of his kicking was only okay some of his decision making like it was tough everyone was getting beaten up but he kicked two of his three goals he combined well with Prendergast and he got the team over the line and I think there's a growing feeling that Ireland are almost you know because his defence is better than Sam's
It might be even better for Sam that he's taken out of the firing line for a little while and that Harry, the older of the three, is probably just ready for this moment.
Now, it might not be the right decision.
It'll be a huge call, a big source of debate.
They'll all be in the squad when it's named on Wednesday.
Frawley might be even in there as well with them.
He was training before the game on Saturday, so he's fit and he's able to fit into a number of different positions.
But there's definitely a bit of momentum behind Harry Byrne and I don't think it's coming from nothing.
Well because they're such a structured team Ireland are an incredibly structured team and they want they want to be like you know the whole thing is built around Johnny Sexton and the whole problem is we're trying to replace you know this guy who was able to see six, seven, eight pictures in a row
I actually think this room, if Hugo Keenan isn't fit, I would seriously consider starting Jack Crowley at 15 in Paris.
