For now, everything seems to be relatively stable, even though things are kind of going up and down with the tariffs.

It can be a hassle, but it can also just be part of doing a business, right?

It's like you own a business.

Nothing is ever going to be 100% smooth.

There's always going to be bumps in the road and you have to acclimate and you have to kind of adapt and figure out what to do next.

We've kind of just factored in random tariffs that we're not prepared for into our budget.

So, you know, sometimes we'll order stuff from Italy or from Germany and get hit with a massive tariff and sometimes we won't.

And it's really difficult to keep track of when that's going to happen.

Sales have been pretty good.

I think we're in a little bit of a bubble just because Knoxville is growing so much.

So we just have more customers than we used to have.

But I, you know, they're about the same as they were last year, despite the increase in population.

So overall, we expected more sales because of that and we didn't get it, but we're still okay.

High-end sales are down.

I know that I've spoken to a lot of other violin shop owners, and they've definitely seen a larger downturn in high-end sales than even we've seen.

High-end for us are instruments that are kind of bread and butter for professionals.

So a $20,000, $30,000 violin that somebody's going to purchase to have the rest of their life and make their living on, those sales are down.

You know, musicians aren't exactly swimming in pools of gold.
