Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh mentioned in his press conference today the AI boom was making his and the Fed's job more complicated because, you know, nobody knows how and when all this AI investment will pay off in the real economy.
There is, of course, a separate question of whether it will pay off or at least whether it'll pay off as much as has been promised or whether it's a bubble.
Well, on the one hand, it is this big, weird, circular investment situation and stock values assume really bright and perfect AI futures.
