So I kept driving. matched

It's midnight at this point and I had been driving for an hour, but I still had not gotten on the highway. matched

Finally, though, I see the on-ramp and I tell my husband, oh my gosh, finally, I'm at the highway. matched

But then as I got closer to the on-ramp sign, I saw it was going north, but I needed to be driving south and there were no other signs pointing me to the south ramp. matched

Again, stupidly, I assume my map was rerouting me to be in accident or construction, which obviously this happens sometimes. matched

And it often happens on this specific highway. matched

So I keep rationalizing it. matched

I get on to the northbound ramp. matched

And by this point, I felt so confused and my gas tank was nearly on empty. matched

So I call my husband and I ask him to look at my location and tell me what city I'm near and if there are any gas stations near me. matched

He checks my location and yells out, holy shit, you're almost at Lake Erie. matched

I'm like, what? matched

Where the hell is Lake Erie? matched

Like Michigan Lake Erie? matched

He says, yeah, you're heading to Michigan. matched

At this point, I'm freaking out. matched

I'm in the middle of nowhere. matched

I'm almost out of gas. matched
