What you're going to see is the ground for when the next big one happens and people are like, holy shit.
It's like the Suez moment.
That's why โ what happened with Suez, it was the โ it happened after nearly a decade of the post-World War II era where the UK was generally declining in power and the empire was collapsing.
And everybody, including the UK, was like, oh my god, we have no power anymore.
But the signs were all there.
