They were able to act on their plan A strategy.
and really go after the free agents that they wanted, they're not going to go and get Dylan Cease for $210 million.
They weren't going to do that.
That would have thrown off their plan.
It would have been really tough to build the team.
They went into the offseason looking...
We need two free agents, or we need two pitchers, two starting pitchers.
We need to rebuild a bullpen, and we need a bat.
That's a lot to fill.
