So to start, I mentioned this earlier to our co-host Mark Brody, Sal.
How much do you think just the emotional loss that the Bills suffered to the Broncos motivated them to make a change and try to add to the team the way they did that ultimately resulted in the DJ Moore deal?
Yeah, Sal, I think that that's a lot of what I saw.
Just the fan reaction and commentary in Buffalo was that a lot of people thought it was an overpay, especially when you consider how much of the bill's backing up DJ Moore's salary for years.
You know, this is a multi-year commitment for them.
How much do you take that into consideration, just given their situation with the cap and then how this is going to be put together?
Well, I think that's a fair point.
That was part of the issue here.
We thought that he was going to be a fit just for Matt Eberflus' defense.
That was originally why he was brought in.
Roquan Smith famously traded.
We know the career he's had in Baltimore.
And he did have a better season out of his respective years here, Sal, than what he had the first two.
