So uh it sort of feels after, you know, three to four weeks of a ceasefire, things have um maybe progressed in the wrong direction overnight with the US and Iran exchanging fire in the Gulf. matched
Um and you know, Iran sending uh missiles apparently over to United Arab Emirates uh as well. matched
So feels like uh President Trump's announcement of Project Freedom, um, you know, our morning here in Australia yesterday hasn't been well received by the Iranians and uh, you know, after matched
A couple of weeks where, you know, it felt like we were making progress, albeit very slow progress, towards some sort of deal. matched
Um, it does look like we've taken a couple of backward steps overnight and uh as you said, markets have reacted accordingly, oil is higher, uh equity markets are down and uh yield curves in sovereign bond markets have bearishly steepened over uh flattened, sorry, overnight. matched

Yeah. matched
Yeah, I guess uh you know they were up one and a half percent in March broadly as expected, and the ex transport measure was solid too. matched
So I guess this is just another data point that really adds to that sense that the industrial sector in in the US, uh, you know, whether that's the manufacturing surveys as you as you just mentioned, or whether it's you know, some of those regional Fed uh surveys around the manufacturing sector seems to be holding up pretty well through the matched
