The team seems to really do exceptionally well in qualifying for tournaments, but the big mounting pressure is the longer it goes on, the more the pressure the players have to deal with.
So they've got to get, at some stage, mentally strong enough to cope and deliver
under that pressure.
I think that the games look after themselves.
I would think what we'd do in between the games...
would be something that you'd have to be very brave at as a manager.
And that would be forget about what the press might think and go shopping or go and, you know, go and have your own time.
You know what I mean?
Go and be... Not to be bogged down and enclosed altogether in the same space day in, day out.
And be getting bored.
Because boredom...
creates like mental negativity which then can make you feel lethargic whereas you know if you've used your time well and you've enjoyed you know doing something a little bit different you know everybody thinks you've got to train and practice and train and what you do prior to the tournament after that you know the players have had
Well, how many games?
International games, Champions League games, FA Cup games, League Cup games, Premier League games.
What are you going to do to rest them and get them ready for the tournament is another big question, you know what I mean?
And that is a lot to cover.
We're going to win the World Cup.
Why not take the pressure off?
Take the families, like, Barden, Barden.
In the old days, you'd know it, they'd go out and have a few pints.
