It's a better team than last year.
But the question is, like, if you can build a rotation, which is the biggest if in the history of baseball in Colorado, but if you can build a rotation, there's some good young hitters there.
I mean, their whole lineup is essentially –
controllable players like not really anybody that is going to be a free agent next year now i think if they do want to be you know still want to make some moves and still want to add in some young players like if you trade a mickey moniac or a jake mccarthy like some guys who are maybe a little bit closer to free agency or maybe not a part of your like longer term window necessarily that i could see um but i think you know if you're right these aren't paul d podesta's guys but they're also like
performing better under his you know organization and they're still so young that they're not really anybody's guys in some ways like they're they're you know it's like how do you mold this roster and i think you know take a lot you have to put ego aside and be like i don't care if i drafted or acquired some of them like this is these are some of these guys are you know
like putting up numbers and they're doing it home and road and they're young and they might be doing it for years to come.
It doesn't mean they're untouchable for sure, but it also might mean that you want to be smart.
You want to be smart in how you evaluate and really honest in how you evaluate where you go from
From here, because I think that they're not they're not like super far away from being, you know, at the very least, like an in the mix team.
But, you know, there's just these certain hurdles about playing in Colorado that make that uncertain for you.
And it requires, you know, actually building out a rotation that that can, you know, not be a hindrance and not mean you have to win every game like 14 to 11.
I've liked everything I've heard from John Moseley, to be honest with you.
And I don't say that about many angels people or like any people, to be honest with you, just because so often it's it feels like it's it's so often it feels like everything's coming through this like, you know, this vetting process of like saying the right thing to not upset somebody else.
And that's like everything.
And it feels like it lacks honesty.
It feels like it lacks, you know.
Just anything that you can really utilize a report.
And so I really have liked John Moseley because I feel like when I hear him talk, he's honestly working through these thoughts and just kind of saying what he's thinking, in my opinion.
Unless that's my opinion.
That's my read on it.
