And I did endeavour to... I met with all the clubs and I was actually trying not to choose the Blues.
And it was funny how when you're trying not to and then they're the most impressive of the interview process and then you choose them.
There was also a great opportunity at the Blues at the time.
There was some gaps at half-back in terms of the way they were playing.
They had just come off playing finals.
I didn't know I was walking into a...
into a 10-year-long rebuild.
But I'm a big believer in having no regrets in your journey.
Ultimately, it gets me to where I am today and I love who I am today and what I've been through and the stories and lessons that I've learned across the years.
So I'm thankful for the whole journey.

Transitioning out of AFL footy has just got challenges in general.
Sometimes you have to be careful with what you say and who you send it to.

When you walk into the media, you want to give an unbiased view on football and give your thoughts as they are.
And when everyone's seen you as a Carlton player and a Carlton person for a long time, that can be quite jarring.
