So there is fallout.

When they appoint James or whether they don't appoint James, there's going to be fallout one way or the other.

It's going to be a tough couple of years anyway for the Eastern Footy Club in terms of where they're at and how they're committed to going back down this path that Brad Scott started them on.

So I don't think there's going to be a massive bounce whoever takes over next year, for this year and beyond.

I don't think, fellas, you both pushed James Hurd for coach the day before he declared his hand.

You're well and truly pushing the agenda.

What we're doing is we're just presenting to you what we knew to be the case and what I knew to be the case.

And that was that there was a strong push from a lot of SM people out there who I have known for a long time.

Some of them, you know, they're fans like so many people listening to the program who want James Hurd to be the coach.

Yeah.

And, you know, it's a conversation that is being had everywhere in football at the moment about James.

And then James put his hand up and declared that he did want to be the coach of Essendon.

So we are talking about it based on the fact that it has become a major discussion in the landscape, on the landscape of AFL football.

For that person.

So that conversation is about when he does put his hand up or had put his hand up, what it means for the club and how, you know, how much of a groundswell support comes because, you know, if they don't, we were talking spitballing, if they don't appoint him, where's it going to be?
