We used to have egg fights back in the day.
But we were led down a very bad path by our great leader, Danny Frawley, back in our football days.
In junior development days.
He would have been up to that sort of hygiene.
We used to leave on the Wednesday to go to the country to do the overnight trips.
And then on the way back, he just thought a couple of dozen eggs was funny to piff him as you're heading down the Hume Highway, which then grew over the course of a year.
There'd be blokes listening to this that would be laughing.
I think Ross Lyne might have been involved in some of this.
And then when it came time to change our cars over, because we had the station wagons and we went back to shifter and Kevin Sheehan said, here, shifty, we've got the speedos up.
He goes, yep, righto, we'll change the cars over.
And he said, after a day, he said, the bloke said that all three of your cars had this micro cracking all over the paint, all over the outside, the Duco.
What's that about?
And Spud goes...
Hailstorm, hailstorm shifter.
We went through a hailstorm down Frelgen one way.
Shifter said, oh, it was all the eggs hitting the side and splintering.
Anyway, I don't suggest you do that.
I don't think that'll wash in today's three AFL blokes driving down there.
I don't think so.
I don't know how lucky he got.
