We were just talking to one of my colleagues the other day.
modeling a new drug, and we were going back and forth about what price to pick.
And so I said, okay, let's just take the average of the past three years of oncology drug launches, what price did they launch at on an annual cost basis, leaving the CAR-Ts aside, because they're one.
Yes.
$315,000.
And you think to yourself, well, we can't keep going like this.
I think pharma needs to, perhaps because their costs.
But maybe if, as you say, we can bring those costs down and the speed to market faster, then maybe they'd be incentivized to bring products to market at a lower price.
I don't want to say more affordable, cheaper.
