And so they're not necessarily had elite quarterbacks, but I think what they've done with what they had was a really good job.
Kribula is not.
You know, not an elite thrower of the football.
I thought he was really good, better on the move.
He was an accurate guy, but he was trying to ball over a little bit.
You know, he ended up at Virginia, and I think that's probably a good fit for him.
But Simmons is more gifted to me than any of the guys you drink with.
And so the physical gifts are there.
Now it's just a matter of, okay,
get him in, make sure he stays healthy, and let's have some consistency week in and week out.
And I think the feelings are really high because they've done a pretty good job of surrounding their quarterbacks with good skill and talent over the years.
Not only that, there's no difference in that this year as well.
And so if you can protect and you can put a good supporting cast around the guy, I think you've got a guy with a really high feeling in Simmons that can take them to another level offensively.
It's so tough because I think we had a preconception of what we thought Avery Johnson was when he first came in.
And he was a blue chip recruit and he was, you know, he was the next thing.
And they obviously moved on from Will Howard to make room for Avery Johnson to be the guy.
And he's really physically talented, obviously a really tremendous athlete.
And that's the first thing that jumps off my face.
I feel like we've been doing this every year where it's like, is he going to put it all together?
And I feel like this is a perpetual annual question that we have with him.
