You know, that can just kind of be luck that you suddenly end up in this situation where
You haven't got the numbers over, or there's a few examples where the tries get scored fairly straightforwardly.
But that means that you're only conceding more tries.
It means you only concede more meters made.
It means you're getting looks where you're charging back and you're able to then get the line speed.
So just simple changes, very small scale changes like that,
have led to vast differences in in what we've seen so as an example if we assume that defense has been but clean blake stays static the whole way across every season then we would have seen uh 52 fewer clean blakes this year than we actually have and that would be basically 20 tries give or take um if you compare that to to actual try scores
So there's things like that where it has been different.
And I think they need to solve that for next year because there is a feeling of it getting worse.
And I also think then that starts to feed into the players.
If you feel that this is getting worse, then what do you do?
How much do you trust the coach if you feel that these things are sliding away?
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't think there's necessarily anything drastic that's shifted.
It's more just everyone who plays professional rugby has seen this defence.
It doesn't mean they can get through it, but it's certainly not as new as it was a few years ago.
