I mean, the parade hasn't gone down the road, but in law, he has won.
They have won with the Parades Commission.
They have won in the Court of Appeal.
They've won in the High Court.
In simple, crude, winning and losing terms, that's what they want to do.
And he has managed to bring that to them.
I think the wider issue here is that while I think this is hugely problematic for Sinn Féin, for Michelle O'Neill, for the STLP opposition, for nationalism, I think they have a very problematic stance here in standing against the rule of law, which is, I think, basically where they've gotten themselves into or stumbled into.
I think there is also a massive vulnerability here for the Orange Order.
This has been something which largely has been settled across Northern Ireland.
I know that there are people at a senior level in the Apprentice Boys of Derry who are very alarmed by this.
There are people there who worry that in a city which is mostly nationalist, that they have managed to settle things there for the most part, and they are going to now find those reopened as open source.
This is something which could go badly wrong for everybody.
That's one of the things here that might just...
push people towards compromise, that everybody has a bit to lose.
But right now, there is no indication whatsoever that either of these sides think that is where this is going.
And in political terms, for the DUP and Sinn Féin as the two main parties here, I think they're both doing very well out of this.
This is good for them politically right now.
But if it goes where it might go, it's bad for all of us.

And if it's accurate and if it's true and if this stands up, it is, I think it's fair to say, a clearly criminal incident involving Geoffrey Donaldson.
