And I think the primary reason you hire the enemy is to establish a certain culture and expectation, and that was coming across in the first two days.

I mean, there were a lot of F-bombs in the first two days of just the rookies being there, and obviously some injured players coming off of injury can be there as well as the quarterbacks, but...

He is always been really good to us, even so.

He still will have a conversation with you when he sees you.

And so like you feel for the person a lot in this situation.

I mean, just the amount of things that must be going through his mind when he receives that news.

It's hard for me not to picture him receiving that news and just that.

get there yeah and it's a one and it's a one-two punch you know yes it's both yes both sides there's so much that must be going through his head that really i mean is unimaginable uh so um i mean you're right that that's that is the most prominent part of this is thinking about that it's hard not to think about that aspect

The Chiefs, they are forced to think about the next.

I mean, they were forced on the next day, on Monday, for the third day of rookie camp, to think about, okay, what's next?

Because he is such a big piece of what they're trying to do this year.

And that includes literally calling the plays to the quarterback.

And it does include being the loudest voice on the field.

Now, Chad O'Shea has a voice, too.

He is from the sidelines.

The offensive coordinator stands behind the play, as does Andy Reid, and watches it from there.

But

I mean, receivers are certainly hearing it.

And I thought back on the first two days, you know, which was before this had happened.
