I think the second thing I would say is there's a spectrum and there's a middle ground between a complete teardown, which he mentioned, and just trading Seth Lugo and Michael Walker.
The third thing is I agree with what he said about that they don't have to worry about shortstop and third base, and they have catchers.
But the thing that's not mentioned in that is their starting rotation, and that is the reason.

This is not going to be blaming these three pitchers because the three pitchers he's referring to that comprise the 60%, of course, are Waka, Lugo, and Noah Cameron.
And so this stat that I'm going to say is not a result of those three guys, but it's a result of saying those three guys aren't enough.
And with those three guys this year when they start, the Royals are 22-44 this year when those three guys are on the mound.
Having those three guys on the mound hasn't been enough.

This group is 46-67, and the excuse I really don't like is the injury excuse because this team stunk before the injuries.
They were 7-16 in April, and Jonathan Indy was the only guy hurt at that time.
They're in the hole now.
The injuries prevented them from digging out of the hole that they created when they were healthy.
Like, this team was not good.
And you could say, okay, if you're the Royals, you could say, okay, we would have been better when we were healthy.
I agree with that.
But I thought you'd be better in April, too.
And you were 7-16 to open the season.
So I was wrong about your team.
