I think that's a flaw.

I think that game plan requires you to the rest of your roster to be ready to go for next year, and I just don't know that they're there.

I think it's probably receiving a call of interest first and then saying, here's what it would take.

And, you know, obviously, you know, negotiations are negotiations where you start and where you finish are a different spot.

But,

It at least has to be within the ballpark of reality for the other team to call back and say, OK, here's our counter proposal to what you're looking.

What guys do you we know what guys you like based on what you ask for.

And here's what we can actually part with.

And then the Royals have a real decision to make.

And that decision should come down to the reality of where you are next year.
