The guy's actually on an NFL roster.

Last year he started a couple of games in New York.

And I don't care how bad the Jets were, when you start an NFL game, that's a hell of an accomplishment.

And he got the most out of his ability.

But they need someone with some more ability at some point, somebody who can take him to be a playoff team because –

I think what Missouri has done a terrific job of over the past five, six years is creating NFL players, even like second, third-round picks, out of guys that I don't know that when they came into Mizzou, a lot of people said that guy's going to be an NFL player someday.

And then you pop up as second-round pick, third-round pick.

They've had a lot of those recently to where it's been like sort of quarterback ready for a quarterback to take the wheel and drive them to the playoffs, and that's just what hasn't happened yet.

Is that a product of the NIL?

The NIL also opens up the opportunity for that to happen, too, though.

I do think it is a product of the NIL, but I also think the NIL allows that to happen.

And how much do you spend on that position?

I mean, football is vastly different from basketball, I think, in the NIL conversation because to me it's more like an NFL salary cap in the sense of how much can I afford to spend on this position versus this position versus this position.

And I don't know that all...

NCAA Division one coaches have caught up on the positional value yet as much as and look, positional value is can be slightly different at that level, you know, compared to the NFL level, but

I don't know that there's a large enough gap between some of the positions that there could be.

Now, Eli Drinkwitz was one of the first ones with Luther Burton to really open up and say, this is a dude and he plays a position that can change a game.

And they put a lot of their resources in to, to Luther burden.

And it, I mean, it paid off for them.

That was their best season was the year they won the, the, the cotton bowl with, with, you know, him on the roster.
