The only reason you didn't believe that Chiefs Super Bowl was over in the first quarter is you'd seen Patrick Mahomes lead comebacks before.
You'd seen that core group come back before.
But really, the game was over looking back in the first quarter.
This felt over.
Five minutes into the match, you're just like,
Well, holy crap, one side is considerably better.
And I recognize that there is a reason for that, but I don't think there's an excuse for the gap to be that large.
And to me, that's what was disappointing is there was only about a 90-second spell in that first half.
You mentioned they came out better at the start of the second half before the catastrophe at the back end made it 3-1.
But it was rare in that match where you felt like the U.S.

Like they even had an opportunity to win.
And I think that's what has probably disappointed a lot of people is it's not only the result.
I mean, the game itself was just a drag to watch.

But like, I mean, everybody should have the opportunity to attempt something they want to do, especially a kid, you know, in a sporting activity.
