And I recognize the fact that, you know, he's a more experienced player.
He's obviously literally the oldest guy on the team, the oldest guy to ever appear for the U.S.
national team in a World Cup.
But a lot of soccer teams have their best player be the captain.
And it just stood out to me immediately when he was not.
And I do think it's indicative of, you know, like the point I made at the onset of this, which I was eager to see how this team would respond, because a lot of these guys weren't captains.
You know, I mean, Pulisic hasn't been a captain for his club team.
So.
I just I thought that the lack of response to adversity, I thought, was the most disappointing part.
Like Belgium is better than the U.S.

But like there there's a gap, but there's not an excuse for the gap to be that large.
I mean, we saw I recognize this as an anecdote and a one off, but we saw Carousel compete with Argentina.
