I mean, they were forced on the next day, on Monday, for the third day of rookie camp, to think about, okay, what's next?
Because he is such a big piece of what they're trying to do this year.
And that includes literally calling the plays to the quarterback.
And it does include being the loudest voice on the field.
Now, Chad O'Shea has a voice, too.
He is from the sidelines.
The offensive coordinator stands behind the play, as does Andy Reid, and watches it from there.
But
I mean, receivers are certainly hearing it.
And I thought back on the first two days, you know, which was before this had happened.
It happened after the practice on, you know, they practiced earlier on Sunday before this happened on Sunday night.
But I thought about on Sunday as we're sitting there talking to, I think it was Cyrus Allen, that he probably realizes that when Patrick Holmes had told us over the summer, yeah, you guys are talking about EB, but these guys don't know the real EB yet.
And I thought,
They probably have an idea now over the first couple of days because that is what he brought.
And like I said, you hired him for a reason, and that was the very reason.
You brought him in more so for training camp and culture than you did for a guy who's going to draw up a play on the whiteboard and help you out in that way.
And I'm not saying he's incapable of doing that.
I'm just saying the purpose of bringing him in is now.
Yeah, and just reestablishing the culture and the discipline and the expectations.
And, I mean, you can say all those things, but he's got a certain demand of the way he even talks.
