If you're hiring somebody, if you're Pelley and you're putting whoever in charge, whether it be Mata or whoever they're going to put in charge, I think you have to put the trust in them to find the right coach that you think is going to work the best with Matthews.

Like, I think you can talk to him, clearly.

Like, you can have a phone call with him.

But you can't be like, hey, we're going to hire –

Manny Malhotra, but he wants David Carl, so we're going to go.

Is David Carl from Denver?

So we're going to go that direction, and we're going to pay.

I think you can take his input, but you can't make the decision on what he says because that's just doing what you've always done here and empowered them way too much.

Yeah, that guy's a dynamo.

All they do is win.

Could he do it in Toronto?

I think if you looked at like, this is maybe for you more, but like looked at what his analytics, how they grade out and the type of system that a coach has may work together.
