Okay, here's what I think, though.
It doesn't come down to Keith Pelley in this case, but to Austin Matthews.
Because if Austin Matthews says, I don't want to play for him, I think he has the hammer, right?
He's the dude.
And they wouldn't want to risk losing him.
And I think that conversation is going to matter.
And I'm not saying I like that.
This is just apples and zebras to me.
Yeah, I think you've got to do some mental gymnastics to make this comparison work.
Yeah, that's fine if you don't think he's 100% because we don't know who the GM is yet.
We haven't talked to the captain yet who's a, you know, I understand.
So it's not 100%.
But you got to really twist that up in your mind to be like, those two are the same thing.
For one, you have a guy behind the bench versus people who are making decisions from up above.
The money is very different, I would imagine.
Like, Ruby here is... They owe him a lot of money.
Oh, I see, in terms of actually letting him go.
I'm thinking about Matthews, like the money that you lose if you lose him.
To me, this is a team that wants a different coach.
I don't know if you've been watching them, but they lost seven in a row since the Olympic break.
