You know, I think if you look at all professional sports, Kip, like, it's not like if you went to the NBA and said, does everyone love Phil Jackson or Pat Riley, that there weren't guys that were like, no, he's terrible.
But those guys had a certain way about him that convinced players to play.
If you went to the NFL, you'd find the same thing.
I think you'd find it...
Maybe the most in the NFL.
And it is a competitive, get-the-most-out-of-guys job.
And as much as we want it to be one that is welcoming and everyone's positive and that the sport has moved that way and should move that way generally, it's tough to get that extra 1% or 2% out of guys.
And if that's not the job, I don't know what it is.
That's the job.
That's the job.
So you're going to get guys like that.
I don't know if Babs is the answer for them.
I know they're desperate.
I know they're looking for a certain type of guy and there aren't many guys like that.
I don't know if he's the answer.
I understand why people are opposed to it.
Do you think that all of these previous, whatever you want to call them, incidents with Babs will make him more aware of how the spotlight is on him, make him put him in a spot where he's a little bit more careful, a little bit more on his best behavior?
Well, I don't think that was the same.
He worked for Toronto.
He got fired, and that was his next job.
