So the MOU, though, I thought at the time when they did the MOU, I thought it was a shitty deal that was worse than the JCPOA, which was Obama-negotiated.
And yet I was also like, we have to do something like this because this can't be sustained.
And that was even violated pretty quickly, right?

So it looks something like this.
You put on a really heavy embargo, sort of like what you did prior to the MOU.
In the meantime, you kind of scramble to look for alternatives to the straightforward moves.
You ramp up production, though that's going to take a while to get online, but you try to open up whatever spigots are out there.
Then you put on just absolutely aggressive sanctions, as much as you can, secondary, tertiary sanctions.
And you look for any other economic leverage you have on a rent, and then you sit back and you wait for them to cry uncle.
And you say, we're not going to move until you, you know...
Until you basically give us some sort of legitimate diplomatic off-ramp here and not this bogus $500 billion sanctions relief, you know, we'll talk in 60 days, MOU.
Yeah, I just can't see Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump getting behind that type of approach, but it does make sense.
